The 18. plenary meeting of the Euroasian Group (EAG) is taking place in Minsk, Belarus from 20 to 24 May 2013.
The plenary will include discussion and review of the major developments which have occurred since the last plenary meeting in the AML/CFT. The EAG working group will also meet during the plenary to discuss the most recent developments and to create an action plan for future work.
The EAG is a regional body on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing and its main goal is to promote the FATF Recommendations and international standards in AML/CFT field. The APML has been participating in the work of EAG as an observer since June 2010. Two APML’s analysts are participating at this plenary.
