5th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties, 12 Jun 2013

5th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties under the Council of Europe Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime and the Financing of Terrorism (C198-COP) is taking place in Strasbourg, France, in the period from 12 to 14 June 2013.

The APML’s representative is to attend the meeting which will include the discussion and review of the major developments which have occurred since the last meeting in the AML/CFT sphere. Furthermore, the First Assessment Report of the Conference of the Parties to CETS on Poland will be presented.

The Republic of Serbia ratified the Warsaw Convention in 2009, thus introducing in its legislation one of the major international standards in AML/CTF area.
