In the period between 18-20.1.2012. Belgrade will host the Conference on National Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Risk Assessment - a kick-off event for the important task that the Republic of Serbia is about to embark upon. The representatives of a large number of state authorities will establish appopriate methodology and will collect relevant data and information, based on which the government will eventually know how to use its financial, technical and human resources most rationally in the combat against money laundering and terrorism financing. The Conference is being organized within the framework of the Council of Europe MOLI Project by the CoE Project team, the APML, the World Bank and OSCE. It is especially relevant to note that the representatives of former Yugoslav republics and Albania will participate as observers, whereas the Republic of Serbia is becoming a pioneer and leader in this field, both in the region and beyond.
