On March 7, 2025, another training course for factoring companies was held in Belgrade, organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

At the training, APML staff spoke on the 2024 National Risk Assessment, the most recent amendments to the AML/CFT Law, and the implementation of software for obliged entities.

After the presentations given by APML’s Danijela Tanić-Zafirović, Head of the Supervision Department, and Igor Grbović, Inspector, there was a Q&A session and interactive discussion concerning the implementation of the AML/CFT Law, Law on the Central Records of Beneficial Owners, and the Law on Freezing of Assets with the Aim of Preventing Terrorism and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.

The overall assessment of all participants was that the training was successful, and confirmed the good cooperation between the APML as a supervisory authority, on the one hand, and factoring companies as obliged entities, on the other.
