First public debate on amendments to the AML/CFT Law
On 29 October 2014, the APML organized the first public debate on the draft version of amendments to the AML/CFT Law in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. Since it is expected that amendments to the Law will be adopted at the beginning of the year 2015, there is still enough time for all the stakeholders to furnish the Working group and the APML with their comments, remarks and suggestions. It is in everybody’s best interest to make the provisions of the law as precise and practically applicable as possible, with the aim of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the AML/CFT system in the country.
