Implementation of international AML/CFT standards, Vienna, 15 – 19 April 2013

A seminar on the implementation of new AML/CFT standards is taking place in Vienna, Austria, from 15 to 19 April 2013.

The seminar is organized by the International Monetary Fund through its Joint Vienna Institute, an international training institute located in Vienna, founded in 1992 by five international organizations and the Austrian authorities.

The seminar will also address the recently published FATF Methodology for the evaluation of the AML/CFT system, which builds on the new FATF Recommendations. The FATF Methodology provides guidelines to future evaluators about the ways to conduct AML/CFT system evaluations in a country.
