APML has developed three guidance documents for public and private sector partners to ensure better understanding of requirements and compliance with the legal provisions governing the prevention of terrorism financing (TF) and the financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (PWMDF).
Understanding TF and PWMDF risks in the appropriate manner helps the country to prevent individuals and legal entities involved in TF and WMDPF from collecting, moving or using funds, thereby implementing targeted financial sanctions and contributing to a stronger CFT and counter-WMDPF system.
